If anyone’s going to the Northeast Organic Farming Association’s summer conference at UMASS-Amherst this weekend, I’ll be there Friday and Saturday! I’m presenting on “Wildcrafting and Agroforestry in the Northeast” at 2pm on Friday, Campus Center 805-09. First session of the weekend so I’m expecting a smaller crowd – it might be a more flexible/conversational format. And the workshop is part of an extensive permaculture track running throughout the whole conference. So drop by if you can!
In other important NOFA news my colleague and friend Eric Toensmeier is keynoting on perennial agriculture as a response to climate change. Eric is a brilliant teacher and thinker as well as being super down-to-earth and approachable. Come see him speak at 7:30pm on Friday!
